<\/a><\/p>\nAnne James<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\nProfessor and Head of Computing and Technology,<\/strong><\/h5>\n Nottingham Trent University, <\/strong><\/h5>\nNottingham, UK<\/strong><\/h5>\nAnne James is Professor and Head of Computing and Technology at Nottingham Trent University, UK. Previously she was Professor of Data Systems Architecture at Coventry University. She obtained her BSc degree at Aston University, UK and her PhD at the University of Wolverhampton UK. Specialising in data processing and semantic analysis, the research interests of Professor James are in the general area of creating distributed and intelligent systems to meet new challenges, particularly in the area of cyber security. Examples of current projects are the development of enhanced methods for detection of biometric identity fraud, the construction of new methods for Cloud forensics, the use of block chain\u00a0 technology in public key infrastructure, and natural language processing for document content analysis. Professor James has successfully supervised 30 research degrees and has published around 200 papers in peer reviewed journals or conferences.<\/h5>\n<\/h5>\n

He received the BSc in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1998), MAppSc in IT from RMIT University, Australia (2002) and PhD from University of Edinburgh, UK (2009). He joined Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia since 1999, where he was a former Head (2012-2016). His research interest are Data Analytics and Computational Intelligence. He also leading as Head of Center for Data Science (UTP). He actively published research paper and securing research grant. He actively contributes as Executive Committee for MyAIS and IEEE Computer Society (2016-2018) Malaysia Section.
